Since I own the camera, I misewell own the software too! My mom decided to buy the family (or more specially me) phtoshop! I was SO excited!
I'll show you what I've done so far. And believe me, I'm NO pro at all!
Here's my before:
Look at the boy on the far right... Notice how his face has changed!
And here's my after:

Notice how his smile has changed here :)
I'm pretty darn proud of myself! And to be honest, it's really not that hard to use photoshop, It just requires a bit of patience. I have photoshop elements 11 so it's easier and better... but there's not many tutorials out there for it since it's so new. I've been pushing through though and I'm extremely happy with my results!

I have a very large room. But I share it with my sister. We have one closet and that's where we keep everything. It is NOT working! You can see much better and cleaner pictures of my room here.
This is our closet. It's the only place that we have for our clothes! And as you an see, it mostly just holds trinkets. A good portion of the hanging clothes aren't even accessible because they're either too high or jammed so tightly in there!
This is my corner of it. And believe me, there's a whole LOT of clothes jammed in the back there!
Okay and please ignore the iPhone pictures below... I was too lazy to use my camera!
We're never home to even pick up our clothes if we even had a place to put them!
Even this corner is getting packed in with junk! This is the only real storage solution that we have. My dad built these built ins about 10 years or so ago. We also have shelves running along the top of our room to hold stuffed animals but those are so high that we have to stand on our beds to reach them! And we don't even really have that many stuffed animals anymore.

Do you have any ideas on how to reorganize or rearrange anything? I'm so totally lost and have no idea where to start! I think a new closest organizing system would be the best idea. It's such a big closest but the shelves take up so much space and they only hold junk!

We recently pulled all the carpet out of our basement and things were quite in disarray. I figured I'd pick up at least a little and try and hide this mess.
I picked this book up at a garage sale for a quarter.
The book had great pictures so I figured I'd save the pages.
Simply slide the router into the empty book and wallah!
A little accessorizing and no one will be able to tell!
I threw in an old camera and a few Louisa May Alcott books and it was too cute!

Due to a nice computer clean up, I lost a lot of pictures. I somehow had left these on my camera and was able to re import them onto my computer... but I lost all pictures before the first step so please just bear with me!
I started out with a whole bunch of pallets that I got for free at a local landscaping place. They were an awkward size but perfect for a size table.
I pulled apart several pallets with a hammer and crowbar. Brand new wood would work just as well!
I cut 6 pieces of wood 18" long and they were already about 3" wide. I lined them all up in an order I liked and attached them together with two pieces of wood that were 15 1/2 "
This is how the table top looked.
I cut 4 more pieces. Two 14" pieces and two 15 3/4"
I attached them around the base of the top to have something to attach the legs to.
And incase you wanted to see the look my feet were rocking all summer:
I did have to add a TON of wood filler to the top and the legs because it's reclaimed so there were a bunch of holes and cracks.
The top wasn't totally flat since a few pieces were warped but I think it adds character!
Not all the pieces were the same type of wood but after it's stained, you can't tell!
Now that the top is done, it's time for a stain!
Here's a comparison of a used and a clean stain rag... whew that was a chore to clean!
I suggest testing your options FIRST! You can test either on a scrap piece or on the bottom. I ended up going with the dark brown one on the top left. It's Carver Tripp 9304 American Walnut but I doubt they still make it any more!
Here's my finished stained top!
I cut 8 pieces of wood 26" long.
I love the look of a dark stain with white so I went ahead and painted my legs white.
I screwed the legs to the top and glued the legs together.
Here's the finished piece!

Okay so I haven't had much time to do anything very creative or even import my photos from the few creative things I actually have done!
I finally got around to some importing and ended up being able to recover some photos I had accidentally deleted for a huge report. Which I'll post a how-to for that too!
Anyways, this past weekend, about 15 or so all hauled their entire tool collection up to our cabin in the middle of nowhere, Michigan.
We had to replace our old rotted roof and here is the outcome:
Here's the before of the front:
And the back:
Here's the after of the back:
And the front:
And I couldn't help but share some of these. Two of my younger cousins discovered this tube that was used to hold some chimney stuff in. They kept pushing each other down the hill in it and asked me to snap some pictures of them.
It's really hard to imagine the 15 or so people sleeping in a three bedroom cabin. And it was 1 per each of those rooms so I'm not sure what the rest did!

All the hard work conked everyone out!
