Paper Cutting
4:42 PMSomething I've really been into lately, is paper cutting. I don't do anything terribly complex (well nothing 3d) and I mainly use templates, but I still love it! I put some books in the library about it on hold... well that was about back in December. I have a feeling they WON'T call...
Anyway for Valentine's day, I got a book about it. It's nothing complex, but it just gives a few tips, ideas and inspirations from different countries. So far I've made a few of the flowery ones. Here's a few I made just out of newspaper:
The book is called The Art of Decorative Paper Stencils: Fold, Cut, and Open by Kanako Yaguchi.
It's actually a really great book. It doesn't give you full size templates, but they're very easy to re create.
